Return and Exchanges
As a small business we offer returns/exchanges for Store Credit only. With our beautiful selection of curated items, we are confident you’ll find some other treasures to replace items that do not suit your purposes.
Please contact Hey Kiddo (email@example.com) prior to making a return to receive a Return Authorization. General returns (those not of a defect in manufacturing and/or workmanship) must be made within 15 days of receipt of purchase. After 15 days, all purchases are final with no returns, exchanges, or shop credit provided. When you contact us please provide:
- your order #
- the item(s) you wish to return and/or exchange
- photos of any defects
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (if any was included) and with tags. We understand that kids may have tried clothing on for size, fit, etc.
Shipping fees paid at the time of order submission are not applicable for a refund.
If your order qualified for free shipping and the return of the item(s) changes your original order total so that it is below the minimum price point for free shipping we will deduct a flat rate shipping cost ($10CAD) from the sum of the price of the returned item(s) to covers incurred with shipping your original items.
All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. This covers our time, packaging materials, etc. This restocking fee may be waived at the absolute and sole discretion of Hey Kiddo.
Fulfillment mistakes may be made that result in the shipment of incorrect products to you will also be accepted for return. Hey Kiddo will cover all shipping costs for you to return the incorrect items, as well as to mail out your replacement items.
We do not accept returns on any sale, last chance, or promotionally priced items. We may be able to exchange an item for a different size or colour, depending on availabiltiy. Please reach out and we'll see if we can help!
Underwear, socks, and swimsuits are final sale for hygeine reasons.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We can sometimes accomodate exchanges if we still have stock available in a different size/colour/style. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see what we can figure out! Please note that customers are responsible for shipping the item to be exchanged back to Hey Kiddo, and Hey Kiddo will cover the cost of shipping the exchanged item back.
Manufacturer/Workmanship Defects Returns
Sometimes manufacturer's defects happen. Let us know! We maybe able to replace items if they are defective or damaged, depending on available stock. If a replacement is not available, we may be able to exchange for a similar value item or refund that portion of your order.
It's also always a good idea to contact the manufacturer. They often are able to deal with defective piece and send you replacement one directly.
All costs incurred with shipping the item(s) back to Hey Kiddo will be the customer's responsibility.
We suggest that you ship the item(s) back with tracking information to ensure it is received by us. If you ship without tracking, we may not receive it and we cannot issue refunds on items that we did not receive.
